Material Certification - Carbon Steel J.B. Smith Mfg, certifies that material used to manufacture line pipe swage nipples and bull plugs has been processed and heat treated to comply with all requirements of ASTM A234-04 WPB and the chemical and physical properties of the raw material fall within the specification. Traceability All raw materials purchased by J. B. Smith Mfg, is fully traceable to the mill source. A JBS code appears on all J.B. Smith products made since the institution of this program. As a result, mill test reports are now available at any time on products so coded.
